Building Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the building maintenance industry, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician 3 to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician 3, you will be part of the Facilities Management Department supporting the maintenance and safety of the building environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician 3

Location: Boston, MA

Pay Rate: $25/hr

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
• Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner
• Inspect building and premises for safety hazards and perform necessary maintenance to eliminate such hazards
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance

• 5-7 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
