Overview
Under specific direction, supervises a group of employees engaged in street cleaning, minor repairs of streets, catch basin cleaning, snow plowing and removal; and does related work as required.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the direct supervision of the Supervisor (Highway Maintenance) directs a group of employees in the following work:
Minor repair of streets, catch basin cleaning by hand or machine, street cleaning by hand or machine, and all work related to snow plowing and removal. Checks to ensure safety measures such as barriers and lights are used to protect the public and employees. Maintains record of time expended and work performed by employees under his supervision.
Must hold a Massachusetts driver’s license and be physically able to drive. Minimum 2 years of experience in related work within the 10‑year period immediately prior to application.
