Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team of property management professionals at a apartment community in Boston, MA.

The Maintenance Technician role involves effective and careful evaluation of a broad range of maintenance needs to assist the Service Manager with the efficient operation of the property.

• Electrical
• Plumbing
• HVAC
• Appliance Repair
• Locks & Keys
• Basic Carpentry
• Painting and Drywall Repair
• Janitorial, Grounds and Snow Removal
• Cleaning
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the buildings common areas and other assigned areas;
• Maintains exterior grounds according to company standards.

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field with a minimum of 3 years and related job experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both written and verbal.
• Solid computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to take initiative and be a self‑starter.
• On‑call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Reliable vehicle needed to perform essential duties of the position.
