Job SummaryResponsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of a hospital or healthcare facility.
Essential Functions- Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
- Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and door glass.
- Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenish restroom supplies as needed.
- Pick up debris around buildings and grounds.
- Operate and control high- and low-speed stripping and buffing machines.
- Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for special events and hospital activities.
- Identify and report building maintenance needs in assigned buildings and facilities.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Experience working with the cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers 2-3 years required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently but also be a team player.
- Good communication and comprehension skills.
Monday to Friday 5pm to 11pm 30hours a week. Onsite Work Location 55 Fruit Street Scheduled Weekly Hours 30 Pay Range $17.71 - $24.28/Hourly Grade 2
