Job SummaryResponsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary healthcare environment to support patient care, staff, and visitors. Performs a variety of environmental services duties to ensure hospital facilities meet established cleanliness and safety standards.

Essential Functions- Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
- Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
- Clean walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, windows, sills, blinds, and glass surfaces.
- Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenish supplies as needed.
- Remove debris and maintain cleanliness around building exteriors and surrounding areas.
- Operate and maintain high-speed and low-speed floor care equipment, including stripping and buffing machines.
- Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, events, and daily hospital operations.
- Identify and report maintenance or repair needs in assigned areas.
- Follow established safety, infection prevention, and environmental services procedures and standards.
- Provide courteous and professional service while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.

Experience:
Experience working with the cleaning equipment and chemicals used in hospitals and healthcare centers. 2-3 years required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently but also be a team player.
- Good communication and comprehension skills.
- 16hrs Saturday/Sunday/Holidays from 3pm-11:30PM
