Housekeeping Supervisor; ful-time

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Environmental Services team. This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort for our residents. As a working supervisor, you will oversee housekeeping and laundry staff, and daily operations, in addition to your own work assignment, and seamlessly step into leadership responsibilities when the Department Director is off-site.

• Managing housekeeping and laundry staff in the absence of the Department Director to keep operations running smoothly.
• Equipment and inventory oversight
• Conduct routine sanitation, and safety audits across resident rooms, public units, and support service areas.
• Ensure the daily work and cleaning schedules of the department are executed as closely as practical.
• Monitor the function of laundry equipment and heavy machinery, reporting any mechanical issues directly to the Director.
• In addition to the tasks assigned to an Environmental Services Aide the Supervisor will also complete special projects as instructed by the Director.

• Ability to adjust shifts as needed to finish specialized cleaning projects or supplement unexpected staff shortages.
• Clear spoken and written communication to effectively document concerns, complete supervisor checklists, and lead a diverse team.
• Capability to stand for extended periods, perform deep physical labor (stripping/waxing), and lift standard commercial cleaning equipment.

The schedule for this position includes Saturdays and Sundays. Proven supervisory experience is required.
