Maintenance Director

Sweetwater Care, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Director to join our team. As a critical member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and grounds.

About the Role:

As our Maintenance Director, you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance activities of our facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks. You will also be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians and scheduling their work to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance needs are met and facilities are maintained in a safe and clean condition.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and direct the maintenance work of maintenance technicians, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and grounds to identify and address maintenance needs
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, including routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements
  • Manage and maintain a budget for maintenance supplies, materials, and labor
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize maintenance needs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
