** Position Overview
** The Maintenance Operator I support the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course.
** Essential Functions
*** Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
** Maintain the greens, including: mowing, plugging, verticutting, sodding, and ball mark repairs.
* Change cups, pin locations, and tee placements; repair divots.
* Check and maintain good condition of cups, flags, and tee markers.
* Check ball washers, empty trash, and remove course debris.
* Communicate effectively with all team members and guests.
* Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or needs of the club
** Requirements
* ** Understanding of the game of golf and importance of course conditions
** In addition, the ideal candidate will be or have:
*** Previous golf course or landscape maintenance experience

** Physical Demands

The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. The employee must be able to sit for long periods of time while driving golf course equipment.
** Work Environment
** This position will require regular exposure to the outdoors.
