JobOverview
The Maintenance Worker position is responsible for performing skilled work in maintenance or craft occupations. This position is located at the Montana Highway Patrol headquarters in Boulder.
Responsibilities- Performing preventive maintenance and equipment such as replacing belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and cleaning gears.
- Paint or repair broken windows, doors, floors, replace broken windows or damaged items.
- Inspect, test and adjust systems such as pumps, alarms, gauges, heating and cooling and electrical components.
- Fabricate or machine parts, tools and other equipment.
- Maintain, alter, and repair wooden objects, fixtures, and structures.
- Perform carpentry repairs and replacements on defective, broken or worn‑out sections.
- Light engine repair and welding.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to attend Boiler Operator training within six months of employment.
- Other combinations of education or experience may be substituted.
- 1-2 years of Maintenance work experience.
$25.81 - $27.85 hourly.
