Compensation and Benefits

Compensation:
Proposed hiring rate of $18.50+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
Benefits:
Seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employees and dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) are also available.

Job Summary

Completes deliveries of unit inventory and items requested by guests. Performs carpet and upholstery spot cleans. Maintains and upkeeps housekeeping inventory. Assists in all areas of Housekeeping as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Reports to work in a timely fashion, prepared for all scheduled shifts.
  • Follows appropriate radio protocol and communicates completion of all calls/requests to the Housekeeping Office/Front Desk.
  • Performs all deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Completes Daily Houseman Log for every shift and returns it to office personnel.
  • Assists with key distribution and tracking.
  • Responsible for organization, cleanliness, and inventory control.
  • Maintains storeroom and inventory security during normal work hours to reduce inventory shrinkage.
  • Maintains houseman vans clean, organized and stocked; reports accidents or necessary repairs to the housekeeping office.
  • Completes carpet and upholstery spot cleans as necessary, including dealing with bodily fluids such as vomit and urine.
  • Maintains and repairs inventory such as spot cleaners, airbeds, coffee makers, etc.
  • Stocks housekeeping closets with supplies.
  • Adheres to safety procedures at all times.
  • Assists in all areas of housekeeping as necessary.

Basic Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work in a standing and bending position indoors and outdoors for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Able to work in harsh weather conditions.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of this position, a criminal background check will be conducted after position is accepted, in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
  • Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • May require the use of a motor vehicle and employee must comply with the Driver's Standards of Copper Mountain.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • May require the use of a mountain radio/walkie‑talkies for communication.
