The Boulder Site is home to the specialized technical operations/CMC team for oligonucleotides and RNAi therapeutics. The CMC team works alongside Quality, Regulatory, Technical Operations and RNAi Early Development professionals at our Boulder, Colorado facility and works closely with our teams in Lexington, Massachusetts. Support & improve all facility maintenance efforts including preventive/predictive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and new equipment installation. Support and participate in plant shutdown activities for facilities and utility equipment. Support training for junior team members.

Reports to Manager.

• Support consistent operation, maintenance, and response for all plantwide refrigeration systems
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on assigned processes in a timely manner
• Document all maintenance activities in CMMS and communicate them to the proper channels
• Partner with process owners to improve performance and reliability of process equipment
• Perform routine cleaning and maintain good housekeeping for assigned areas
• Execute self‑conducted site rounds and inspections of all utilities to ensure compliant operations
• Help develop maintenance procedures, plans, and spare‑parts lists for assigned processes
• Teach other technicians in specialized areas and keep knowledge of new systems current
• Work rotating, night, extended, or weekend shifts as required
• Plan and execute plant shutdown activities
• Interpret mechanical and electrical specifications, drawings, and technical data sheets for projects
• Support installation, commissioning, qualification, and training of all site utility systems and controls
• Follow all safety and environmental requirements, including SDS documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Move equipment and supplies weighing up to 33 pounds using various body positions; routinely operate and inspect manufacturing equipment with hand use; stand for up to a 12‑hour shift; may require corrected vision to 20/25 or mandatory color vision; occasionally climb ladders or work at elevated heights; work around odorous or hazardous materials; wear gloves; perform critical functions in very cold environments;

confine space work; wear hearing protection in loud environments; work outdoors in variable weather; must pass mandatory driver's exam for powered industrial trucks; does not require a valid driver’s license.

• High‑school diploma or GED plus 4+ years experience required; or associate’s degree with 2+ years experience; or bachelor’s degree with required experience
• Minimum of 4 years experience and knowledge in mechanical, electrical, or control systems preferred
• Required knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or control systems
• Preferred lead and guide other technicians daily
• Preferred experience managing records in CMMS
• Mandatory proficiency reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents
• Experience in GDP/cGMP documentation and standards
• Experience planning, organizing, checking results, and revising work plans
