RV​/Automotive Technician

This position will split time between our RV division and our new automotive service division. Its pay is calculated as a commission of "Standard Repair Time" hours. This is the calculus used by dealerships and allows technicians to increase their hourly pay through performance.

There will be a paid training period whose length will be determined by the successful candidate's experience, knowledge, aptitude and learning speed.

The successful candidate may have to travel to our customer's location and perform diagnostics repairs/services described on their work order. Further responsibilities include on-site customer relations, quality control, thorough documentation, strict punctuality, professionalism, self-management... The successful candidate(s) may be working without direct supervision once trained.

Integrity is the most important qualification and applies in a number of ways. Mechanical ability is required and can stand in for experience to an extent. Flexibility, motivation, ambition, intelligence...all plusses. Military service is another plus. Finally, some experience in these fields or related ones.

Must be licensed and insurable.
