Custodian I​/II

Job Summary

The Custodian I/II position is responsible for providing custodial services for all College buildings, ensuring proper hygiene compliance and cleanliness of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, administrative offices, auditoriums, and other areas.
Hourly Rate Range: $18.40 - $19.46.

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Shifts:
  
  4 overnight shifts (11pm–7am) and 1 shift (7am–3pm) on weekdays, Saturday, and Sunday.
• On-site, in-person presence required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of custodial experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow simple directions.
• Physical ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. throughout an 8‑hour shift.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, slippery conditions) and on uneven surfaces.
• Ability to use lifts, ladders, and/or scaffolding to work at elevated heights.
• Professional interaction with culturally diverse students, faculty, staff, and the public.

• Proven record of attendance and reliability.
• Flexibility regarding work location, assignments, hours, and shifts.
• Experience with heavy custodial equipment (buffers, vacuums) and moving furniture.
• Strong teamwork skills.
