The Radar / Lidar Technician installs, calibrates, and maintains speed detection and enforcement equipment used by law enforcement agencies.
Responsibilities- Maintain radar and lidar enforcement equipment
- Calibrate speed detection devices according to standards
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs
- Maintain calibration records and compliance documentation
- Support law enforcement technology operations
- Experience with radar, lidar, or electronic diagnostic equipment
- Technical training in electronics or communications preferred
- Ability to maintain calibration standards
