Responsibilities
The Maintenance Ambassador Supervisor fosters a sense of community by providing an unparalleled living experience for residents and delivering excellence in customer service through maintaining the physical appearance and upkeep of the community. The supervisor services residents' day‑to‑day maintenance needs, provides corrective, preventative, and emergency maintenance throughout the community, ensures safe and satisfactory operation of apartment appliances, performs plumbing, electrical, carpentry, floor repairs, assists with apartment turnover preparation, services community equipment and HVAC systems, and performs any other duties assigned.
The supervisor manages the maintenance team, ensuring the acceptable physical appearance of the community, overseeing residents' needs, performing minor plumbing/electrical carpentry and floor repairs, assisting with apartment turnover preparation, and any other duties assigned. They also assess the strengths and weaknesses of the maintenance team, manage employee incentives, and nurture a sense of community with a focus on customer service standards.
Requirements- 5+ years of maintenance experience including HVAC repair and preventative maintenance of individual or central plant equipment, appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, fire safety equipment and repairs, supervision, and preparation of apartment turnovers and flooring installations.
- Ability to oversee and perform all maintenance repairs and duties independently, professionally, and in a timely manner.
- Previous supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to supervise maintenance personnel.
- Initiative and motivation to continue training to develop skills, preferred (license and certifications). Exceptional organizational, time management, scheduling, and delegation skills; exceptional leadership/supervisory and personnel development skills. CFC – Type 2 may be required.
- Valid driver’s license, transportation to respond to emergency calls, and proof of motor vehicle insurance.
