About the Role
:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance, compliance inspections, and regulatory inspections against the building’s electrical infrastructure and on-site assets. This is a multi-skilled role requiring capabilities in general maintenance, plumbing, building works, fire alarm testing, HVAC, and filter cleans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:
- Plan and monitor all maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical/electronic faults.
- Follow planned maintenance programs.
- Recondition and repair electrical and electronic components.
- Utilize administration control systems.
- Initiate and carry out electrical/electronic modifications.
- Comply with safety procedures.
- Support after-hours building needs.
- Maintain efficiencies and team measurables.
Position Qualifications
:
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge in a manufacturing environment, specifically in maintenance.
- Strong maintenance ability and aptitude.
- Solid problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Must be detail-oriented.
Education and Experience
:
High School Graduate or GED, with previous experience as an electrician or in industrial maintenance preferred. Three years or more of proven industrial maintenance experience, specifically in mechanical and electrical fields.
