Mechanic Mobile Equip

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventative, and scheduled maintenance on mobile and heavy equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Operate cranes and other lifting equipment as required
• Perform welding and fabrication based on drawings, specifications, and original designs
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure clear communication and efficient operations
• Maintain safe work practices in compliance with MSHA regulations
• Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and moving violations
• Maintain good housekeeping, including equipment appearance, work spaces, and shop areas
• Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned

High School or better.

• 3‑5 years of maintenance or heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred.
• Aggregate industry experience and familiarity with related equipment strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Welding and fabrication proficiency required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as production demands require.
