Medical Imaging Field Engineer - MR, Dayton, OH

Service Area: Dayton, OH

Shift Requirements: 1st shift, Monday‑Friday (post‑onboarding/training)

• Service imaging equipment within the Dayton, OH area.
• Install, maintain, and modify Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites.
• Provide customer support as the primary point of contact for Siemens products.
• Initially support the MR modality, with potential to cross‑train into other modalities.
• Work flexible shifts, on‑call rotations, and overtime as business needs dictate; advance notice will be provided for shift changes.
• Report to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions.

• Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites.
• Prior experience with the desired medical imaging equipment: MR.
• Strong background working with electronics and proficiency in service tools and test equipment.
• Proficient PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365 – Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive independently day and night.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned geography and participate in on‑call rotations after training and certification.

• Minimum technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong electronics background and computer skills.
• 1‑2 years of field service experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head), walk, climb ladders or stepstools, bend, twist, sit, squat, stand, perform high‑reach tasks, fine‑grasp manipulation, and maintain good vision.
