As an FMS team member your responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

  • Daily Execution
    • Cleans open routes
    • Identifies and resolves minor, immediate issues (safety, cleaning, equipment/supply, employee, customer)
    • Trains cleaners, leads and flex cleaners
    • Completes approved customer requests
    • Performs "Rag in Hand!" and cleans per FMS standards
  • Representing
    • Maintains a positive demeanor
    • Reports to work in uniform
    • Displays professionalism
  • Leading
    • Coaches and motivates employees
    • Recognizes a job well done
    • Provides a steady, calm presence when challenged

  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Participate in the FMS training and safety program and apply what you have learned in your everyday activities
    • Adhere to the policies and procedures in the FMS Policies Manuals
    • Clock in and out when you begin working, when you finish, and when you take lunch, using the FMS time tracking system for ALL shifts
    • Report any injuries, not matter what type, to your supervisor

Job Requirements and Essential Functions of the job

  • Lift, push or pull objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Carry items under 20 lbs.
  • Squat, bend, stoop, and reach
  • Perform overhead reaching
  • Perform repetitive arm and hand movements for long periods of time
  • Walk distances over 100 yds. for long periods of time
  • Work in noisy environments
  • Work in warm and/or chilly environments
  • Work outside for brief intervals
  • Fill out simple paperwork
Education Requirements (All)

High School Diploma/Some College
