ALPLA Inc. is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team supporting high-speed plastics manufacturing and packaging lines. You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure maximum equipment uptime. Working closely with production and quality, you'll drive safe work practices, maintain accurate records, support continuous improvement, and develop technicians through training in a fast-paced, sustainability-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise night-shift maintenance technicians in a manufacturing facility
- Plan, prioritize, and assign preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and repair plastics manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Monitor machine performance and minimize unplanned downtime
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support output goals
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts usage
- Train, coach, and evaluate maintenance team members
- Support implementation of continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Participate in root-cause analysis and long-term corrective action planning
