Janitor or Landscaping Crew Member

Join our team as an Environmental Service Attendant and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming campus environment. This role combines janitorial, custodial, and groundskeeping duties across dormitories, academic buildings, athletic facilities, and outdoor campus areas. No prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain dormitories, offices, academic buildings, and athletic facilities.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and restroom cleaning.
• Assist with groundskeeping, outdoor cleanup, debris removal, and general campus upkeep.
• Safely use cleaning products, equipment, and tools.
• Follow assigned cleaning schedules and routes.
• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform custodial, janitorial, and general labor tasks.
• Reliable and able to follow instructions and schedules.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• No experience, certifications, or formal education required.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Monday-Friday: 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM
• Sunday-Thursday: 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM

Work Environment

Work throughout facilities and grounds in both temperature-controlled and outdoor environments. This position requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, and performing cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bowling Green, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $13.72 - $13.72/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
