Compensation: $14.50 per hour, 32 hours a week, position not eligible for benefits

Summary
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting the Maintenance / Facilities Staff Members in completing tasks that ensure the community meets safety, appearance, and operational standards.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Painting Team Responsibilities- Appropriately prepare surfaces for painting.
- Perform dry wall repairs and painting.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Operate, clean, and maintain all painting equipment, including, but not limited to, brushes and rollers.
- Power wash building exteriors as needed.
- Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
- Move and stage furniture.
- Complete any assigned maintenance and custodial tasks requested by supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Clean residential facilities, including, but not limited to, vacuuming and wiping down surfaces.
- Set up or remove bedding materials for summer conference guests.
- Relocate furniture.
- Move and stage furniture.

- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Demonstrate proficiency in verbal communication.
- Must be punctual, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to navigate up and down stairs.
- Ability to pick up / lift / move up to 50 pounds.
