Administration Janitor

We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Janitor. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment at three company locations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The janitor performs general cleaning and maintenance duties.

Duties may include tending furnaces and boilers, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at three company facilities
  , traveling between locations as needed.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather. Remove, and properly dispose of trash at all 3 facilities.
• Service, clean, and restroom supplies.
• Clean walls, windows, glass and other surfaces as needed.
• Maintain and clean kitchen in call center building.
• Shampoo carpets and rugs as required.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Maintain exterior grounds including mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, and clearing debris.
• Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, parking areas, and entrances using snow blowers, shovels, or other equipment; apply snow‑melt products as needed.
• Maintain adequate supplies and notify management when cleaning or maintenance supplies need to be reordered.
• Operate equipment such as a skid steer for parking lot maintenance and pallet movement when required.
• Monitor propane levels at all 3 facilities.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or facility needs as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum 2+ years janitorial or facility maintenance experience is preferred.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow direction and complete assigned tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable and dependable work ethic.

• This position requires travel between three company locations; reliable transportation (truck) is required.
• Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 30 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel and reach for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment, power tools, and facility maintenance equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or evenings when necessary.
