Required Qualifications

* be at least 20 years old

* be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time

* have a valid drivers license and obtain authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before his or her start date in the position)

* be able to obtain a Limited Structural Pest Control License in Florida within one year of his or her start date in the position

* be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

* be able to move a minimum of 200 pounds

* be able to stand for long periods of time

* be able to bend, climb, stoop, and twist

* be capable of generating and processing work on a computerized maintenance-management system

* be able to use chemicals and equipment that require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

* be able to read labels, write reports, calibrate chemicals, and solve math problems

* be able to interpret, understand, follow, and communicate instructions

* successfully complete the following tests (before his or her start date in the position)

* Basic Office Skills and

* Following Written Instructions

* have the ability to work well with others and be a team member

* show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work and

* show a commitment to Publix's mission.

* be able to obtain medical clearance to wear respiratory protection (an air purifying respirator) within 2 weeks of accepting the contingent job offer (requires maintaining facial hair in a manner ensuring the respirator fits properly)
