Compensation
  • Base Compensation Range: $116,750 - $146,000
  • Annual bonus opportunity of 15% based on company performance
  • Annual equity award of $14,000

Job Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager who is a hands‑on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practitioner. This role is responsible for building a safe, proactive, and highly reliable maintenance system that supports manufacturing performance while developing people and strengthening partnerships across Operations and Engineering.

The Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in shifting the organization from reactive maintenance to proactive, visual, and operator‑engaged equipment care, while creating a culture of ownership, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities TPM & Proactive Maintenance
  • Lead and sustain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices, including preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance.
  • Drive a strong shift toward proactive maintenance, minimizing unplanned downtime and improving equipment reliability.
  • Partner with Operations to implement and sustain operator‑engaged maintenance, enabling operators to actively care for equipment.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to eliminate chronic equipment failures.
Safety, 5S & Visual Management
  • Champion a safety first culture, ensuring all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in compliance with standards.
  • Lead implementation and sustainment of 5S across maintenance areas, equipment locations, and spare parts storage.
  • Establish and maintain visual management systems that make equipment condition, maintenance status, and abnormalities immediately visible.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate equipment and facility safety risks.
Collaboration with Engineering & Site Leadership
  • Work closely with Engineering teams to improve equipment reliability, maintainability, and lifecycle performance.
  • Partner with Engineering on equipment modifications, reliability improvements, and capital projects to ensure maintainability and TPM principles are embedded by design.
  • Support maintenance readiness for new equipment installations, including PM strategies, spare parts, documentation, and training.
  • Serve as a collaborative partner to site leadership, aligning maintenance priorities with operational and business needs.
Planning, Metrics & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead maintenance planning and scheduling to maximize planned work and reduce reactive maintenance.
  • Track and report key maintenance and reliability metrics, using data and visuals to drive improvement.
  • Continuously improve maintenance systems to reduce cost, extend asset life, and improve operational performance.
People Leadership & Talent Development
  • Be a developer of talent, building strong technical capability, TPM knowledge, and leadership skills within the maintenance team.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians and leaders through training, feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Identify and develop future leaders by providing exposure to cross‑functional initiatives and continuous improvement work.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, teamwork, and continuous learning.
