Environmental Services Housekeeper Nights MMH

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing housekeeping services to maintain a sparkling clean, hygienic, and safe environment that is patient and family centered. Routinely cleans patients’ rooms promptly after discharge; may also clean nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, public restrooms, and other areas as assigned.

Responsible for providing linen services throughout the facility. Monitors the facility to catch items that need cleaning and attention. Uses cleaning supplies and equipment as regulated to ensure a safe cleaning environment. Demonstrates service excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED – Preferred
• Vocational/Technical School Diploma – Required
• Associate’s Degree – Not required
• Bachelor’s Degree – Not required
• Master’s Degree – Not required
• Other – Not required

• Minimum one (1) year of housekeeping experience – Preferred
