Maintenance Technician

Coastal Car Wash seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep our wash tunnels, vacuums, and support systems running safely and efficiently. In this fast-paced, customer-focused environment, you will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing systems for car wash equipment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, responding to breakdowns, monitoring chemical delivery systems, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. You'll document all work performed and partner with site leadership to minimize downtime, support smooth operations, and ensure a consistent, high-quality car wash experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair car wash equipment, pumps, conveyors, and control systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues.
• Monitor chemical levels, hoses, and nozzles to ensure proper wash quality and safety.
• Keep maintenance areas, tools, and parts inventory clean, organized, and secure.
• Document maintenance activities, parts used, and repair history accurately.
• Follow all safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices when working on equipment.
• Collaborate with site managers and team members to prioritize repairs and maintenance needs.
• Assist with facility upkeep, including minor building, lighting, and grounds repairs.
• Support a customer-focused, fast-paced environment by ensuring reliable, efficient wash operations.
