Resort Maintenance Technician
Are you someone who enjoys fixing things, working with your hands, and taking pride in keeping properties looking their best? Penmac Staffing is hiring multiple Resort Maintenance Technicians for a beautiful resort property in the Brainerd Lakes Area. This is a great opportunity for individuals with maintenance experience or those who are eager to learn a variety of skills in a scenic resort environment.
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
To be successful in this role, candidates should:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Be willing to learn different aspects of resort maintenance
- Demonstrate excellent customer service when assisting guests
- Have the ability to complete tasks efficiently and independently
- Previous maintenance experience is helpful but not required
- Be willing to submit to a criminal background check
As a Resort Maintenance Technician, you will help ensure that resort facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for guests and staff. Duties may include:
- Complete assigned maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting involving plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and minor electrical systems
- Work with team members to identify and resolve facility and infrastructure issues
- Assist with property improvement projects and repairs
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, tractors, and loaders as assigned
- Adapt to changing maintenance priorities throughout the property
- Respond professionally to guest maintenance requests and concerns
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and attractive resort environment
