Maintenance Technician

Role Summary

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team of property management professionals at apartment communities in Hanover, MA.

The Maintenance Technician must address a broad range of maintenance needs to assist the Service Manager with efficient property operation.

• Electrical
• Plumbing
• HVAC
• Appliance Repair
• Locks & Keys
• Basic Carpentry
• Painting and Drywall Repair
• Janitorial, Grounds and Snow Removal
• Cleaning
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the building common areas and other assigned areas
• Maintain exterior grounds according to company standards

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum three years of experience in facilities maintenance
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and verbal
• Solid computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Take initiative and be a self‑starter
• On‑call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays
• Respond to and remedy maintenance issues promptly
• Reliable vehicle required

Pay: $25/hr. – $27/hr benefits include medical, dental, 401(k), STD, life insurance, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), paid time off, paid holidays, paid training, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, employee referral bonuses and flex spending.
