Cemetery Foreman (FT), St. Mary Parish, Randolph, MA
Title:
Cemetery Foreman
Report to:
Cemetery Director
- Must be 18 or older
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must have a valid MA driver's license & a current DOT physical card
- Must be able to work well with colleagues
- Must be able to participate in physical, outdoor work
- Must be able to lift 75lbs ... waist high
- Must submit to an annual CORI background check & a 1-time PGC certificate
- Must be willing to complete training classes offered by St. Mary Cemetery
- Must be compliant with behavioral standards set by the RCAB
- Must dress according to the St. Mary cemetery dress code
- Must be able to work OT on Saturdays / Sundays when requested
- Full time Position
- M-F 7am... 3:30pm
- 4 hrs. @ 1.5 times, is common on Saturdays. Infrequently, work on Sundays, same as Saturdays. Holidays @ 2 times.
- Entitlement times; vacation/personal to be approved by Director, in advance
- Sick time to be called in by 6am of the day the absence will take place
- No smoking or use of illegal drugs on entire church property
- No Alcoholic beverages on the entire church property
- No weapons, especially firearms, on the entire church property
- Work with the Cemetery Director and Cemetery Staff
- Work site preparation for burials as directed; (high priority)
- Be able to lead funerals to burial site
- Work the Spring & Fall Cleanup process as directed
- Work the ground's landscape process, including lawn care, as directed
- Work the Winter snow & Ice removal process as directed
- Perform PM & make repairs to hand & power equipment, as directed
- Follow all safety standards
- Be prepared to perform other maintenance duties at all parish facilities
- Assist with various tasks and projects in the Parish as requested by the Pastor, Cemetery Director and Finance & Operations Manager
- Be polite & helpful with the general public around the cemetery & facilities
- Salary range: $45,000 - $50,000 annually commensurate with experience and qualifications
