Job Description

Pay Rate: $18/hour - Use our Daily Pay benefit and get access to your pay as you need it.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Floor Cleaning Technician to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of carpets, floors, and upholstery throughout the resort.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning carpets and floors in rooms and public areas of the resort.
  • Clean carpets, upholstery, floors and room accessories to remove effects of smoke and water damage such as dirt, soot, stains, mildew and excess water moisture.
  • Must wax and strip floors as needed.
  • Drive vehicles or golf carts with floor mounted or portable commercial carpet, upholstery and interior cleaning machines, tools and supplies to work site.
  • Ensure that proper safety signs are set up prior to performing floor cleaning activities.
  • Place fans and dehumidifiers in strategic room location to remove moisture from carpets, upholstery and air.
  • Verify moisture presence and removal with moisture sensor.
  • Spray or fog carpets, upholstery and accessories with fabric conditioners and protectors, deodorizers and disinfectants.
  • Inspect completed restoration to ensure conformance to standards.
  • Assist in training of fellow employees in the department.
  • Other duties assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Required to pass motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
  • Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to lift and move furniture safely.
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
