Maintenance Technician - Parks and Recreation

Outdoor Maintenance Opportunity in Branson

• A high school diploma, or GED equivalent and be at least 18 years of age.
• Have at least one year of experience in performing semi-skilled building or mechanical, construction, or grounds maintenance tasks.
• Have a valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
• Possess a valid Class A or B CDL OR obtain a passing grade on the written portion of the Class A or B CDL exam before employment start date.
• Be able to properly operate medium level equipment such as a zero turn mower, a bobcat, trash truck, and snowplow with spreader.
• Be willing to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
• Be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and a physical agility screening.

• Support the upkeep of city parks, trails, and public buildings by performing landscaping, mowing, irrigation repairs, and cleaning tasks to keep Branson beautiful.
• Operate and maintain equipment like mowers, utility vehicles, and small engines.
• Help prepare athletic fields and assist with snow removal and trash collection.

The starting hourly wage is $20.26 per hour and will increase to $21.07 per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.

- 4:00 p.m. Some after hours will be required.

This position requires work to be performed onsite.
