Maintenance Technician
Grounded in our Purpose, to Serve from the Heart, the Maintenance Technician supports the Maintenance Manager in delivering reliable, safe, and well-maintained building systems and guest experiences across Crystal Peak Lodge. This is a hands-on role with daily exposure to both back-of-house systems and in-unit owner and guest work orders.
To work closely with the Maintenance Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor, Front Desk Supervisor, and outside vendors. Daily contact with guests and owners during in-unit work orders.
The Maintenance Technician must be reliable, friendly, guest-focused, and able to work safely and independently across a variety of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general-repair tasks. Comfort with smartphone-based work order systems and a willingness to participate in on-call rotation are essential.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute the daily preventive maintenance schedule across guest units, public areas, and back of house.
- Respond to in-unit work orders for Rental Program guests and homeowners through Breezeway, prioritizing safety and rental-ready turns.
- Perform routine repairs across plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint touch-up, appliance, lighting, door hardware, lock systems, and basic HVAC.
- Support pool, hot tub, snowmelt, and life safety system checks under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop, vehicle, and tool inventory.
- Assist with snow removal, ice management, and arrival-area readiness throughout the winter season.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours guest issues.
Job Qualifications
- Two or more years of hands-on building or unit maintenance experience in a hotel, resort, vacation rental, residential, or commercial setting.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, appliances, and basic HVAC.
- CPO, EPA 608, or trade certifications a plus.
- Comfortable using a smartphone, work order app, and email. Breezeway experience a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Reliable, friendly, and guest-focused.
