Job Summary:
The Building Maintenance Manager leads the maintenance and engineering operation at Gravity Haus Breckenridge, overseeing the property's buildings, equipment, systems, amenities, and grounds. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for preventative maintenance, daily work orders, team leadership, vendor management, budgeting, capital projects, and building safety. The Manager works closely with the General Manager and department leaders to maintain a safe, functional, and well-presented property while supporting an exceptional guest and member experience.
A current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is required. Candidates without a current CPO certification must obtain one within 30 days of starting employment.

Maintenance & Building Operations Lead daily maintenance operations, including scheduling, work orders, preventative maintenance, and prioritization of repairs. Maintain the property's guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, mechanical systems, equipment, amenities, and grounds. Troubleshoot and complete repairs when practical and coordinate specialized contractors when needed. Maintain effective preventative maintenance programs and identify recurring issues before they impact guests or operations. Maintain appropriate records for equipment, inspections, repairs, warranties, and maintenance activities.
Team Leadership Lead, schedule, train, and develop the Building Maintenance team. Establish expectations for safety, performance, communication, accountability, and quality. Provide appropriate staffing coverage, including weekends, holidays, and emergency response as needed. Build a culture of ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Guest & Member Experience Ensure maintenance issues affecting guests, members, and operations are addressed promptly and professionally. Partner with Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, and other departments to prioritize maintenance needs.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve the property's condition, functionality, and overall guest experience. Support guest recovery when maintenance issues impact a stay.
