Floor Tech

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our team. The Floor Tech will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the floors throughout our facility. This includes performing various cleaning tasks, such as mopping, stripping, waxing, and buffing floors. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors on a regular basis to remove dirt, debris, and dust.
• Clean and sanitize floors using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Strip and refinish floors as needed to maintain a high level of cleanliness and appearance.
• Operate floor cleaning machines, such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners.
• Ensure floors are properly maintained and free of any hazards or obstructions.
• Monitor and report any damage or repairs needed for the floors.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
• Assist with other cleaning and maintenance duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Floor Tech or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of various cleaning agents, equipment, and techniques.
• Ability to operate and maintain floor cleaning machines.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
