Job Responsibilities:

The Facilities Specialist is responsible for assisting in maintaining facilities building and grounds, ensuring cleanliness and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Maintain buildings by performing minor and general routine maintenance activities

* Notify management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment

* Maintain regular service for equipment associated with the building, such as security, fire prevention, life safety systems, etc.

* Document and update maintenance, as well as planned maintenance, in facilities management system

* Assist with the development of clinic sites

* Perform ground maintenance and general maintenance as directed by Facilities Manager

* Assigned call according to organizational needs

* Familiar with using facilities management system software (Ex. FMX)

* Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no direct reports.

Compensation: $16.97 - 24.20

* Taking into account education and experience related to the position.

Qualifications

* One (1) to two (2) years of maintenance experience (preferred)

* Strong general knowledge of facilities, including plumbing, lighting, and medical/dental equipment (preferred)

* Valid driver's license (required)

Work Environment and Physical Demands

With multiple locations and settings, PCHS' work environment and physical demands vary greatly depending on the employee's role. Essential job functions include the following:
The employee is required to talk, hear, see, smell, sit and stand. The employee is frequently required to move around the facility; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Employees may be exposed to mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
