Position: Materials Handler Supervisor with Security Clearance
Duties
* Provides direct supervision to assigned incumbents and plans the work of the organization to ensure the support required in receiving, inspecting, identifying, counting, storing, issuing, and reporting materials.
* Performs warehouse and inspection functions and operates material handling equipment (MHE) or heavy-duty motor vehicles to support warehouse operations.
* Deciphers commercial and Government shipping labels, invoices, data sheets, etc. that accompany all commodities of material relative to receipt, packaging, storing, issuing and shipping functions.
* Participates in the planning of current and future work schedules, budget requests, staffing needs, estimates and resources for projected work.
* Explains work requirement methods and procedures and instructs subordinates in new procedures; providing advice when problems arise. Requirements Conditions of employment
