We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Shipboard HVAC Technician specializing in shipboard mechanical/electrical and ventilation systems to support engineering, design, maintenance, and integration efforts across various naval platforms. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and analysis on system performance, integration strategies and lifecycle support. This is a Part‑time position, located in Bremerton, WA.

• Serve as the lead technical authority on shipboard mechanical and HVAC/ventilation systems for naval and maritime platforms.
• Provide technical expertise for system design, modification, and operational assessments.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.
• Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
• Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
• Interface with shipyard personnel, ship’s engineering teams, and government stakeholders to ensure system performance and compliance.
• Assist in the development of test procedures and conduct shipboard testing and validation as needed IAW prescribed procedures.
• Support logistics planning including parts provisioning, technical manuals, and training materials.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ABS, DCM, ASHRAE, MIL‑STD, NAVSEA standards)
