POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the equipment and machinery property of MIC on optimum conditions, as well as the facilities in general. His/her goal is to meet the Preventive Maintenance Plan and reduce the time machines are out of work due to maintenance failures an minimize the corrective maintenance time.
The Maintenance Technician has a high urgency sense to solve problems and make decisions. He/she works in teams with production to schedule the maintenance of the machines. He/she keeps permanent communication with the purchasing specialist and if needed contact directly outside vendors for maintenance service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ DUTIES- Carry out the daily maintenance tasks
- Meet the preventive maintenance plan
- Estimate the life of spare parts, when applicable
- Provide maintenance service to the air conditioning units, lighting
- Insure and maintain safe working conditions
- Willingness to work overtime, holidays, weekends as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Good overall communication skills for working with outside vendors
- Being able to diagnose and fix minor problems on CNC equipment
Education
High school or equivalent
Minimum 5 years’ Experience in maintenance
Previous Experience working on CNC Equipment would be beneficial

Will have the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (ANSI Safety Goggles)
