) is currently recruiting for one (1) full-time Lead Custodian position at Bullard-Havens Technical High School in Bridgeport, CT.

The incumbent would work in a high school environment and be entrusted to act as a working supervisor for a crew of Custodians engaged in the cleaning of Bullard-Havens Technical High School.

Position Highlights
  • Location — Bullard-Havens Technical High School in Bridgeport, CT
  • Full-time | 2nd Shift | 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday — Friday | 2:30 pm — 10:30 pm

In your role as a Lead Custodian, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Plan crew workflow and determine priorities;
  • Schedule, assign, oversee and review work;
  • Establish and maintain crew procedures;
  • Provide staff training and assistance;
  • Conduct or assist in conducting performance evaluations;
  • Act as liaison with operating units, agencies and outside officials regarding unit policies and procedures;
  • Perform a full range of duties as outlined in the Custodian class specification;
  • Perform related duties as required;

CTECS operates 17 diploma-granting technical high schools, one technical education center and two airframe mechanics and aircraft maintenance programs.
