Maintenance Technician

What

You’ll Do
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.
  • Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.
  • Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.
  • Perform snow and ice removal.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.
  • Weekend work is required as needed.
  • Perform physical tasks and other duties as assigned.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are a plus, along with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Hands‑on experience in maintenance, with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
  • Team player who communicates effectively and works well with others.
  • Detail‑oriented and takes pride in delivering high‑quality work.
  • Proactive and enjoys solving problems with practical solutions.
  • Dependable and flexible, ready to handle after-hours or weekend emergencies when needed.
