Dietetic Assistant
This position may be assigned a variety of fundamental food service duties. Typical assignments include patient tray line (meal assembly), dish room, utilities (floors and trash), cafeteria server, and cold food production. In addition, the Dietetic Assistant will work as a team to deliver high quality food and service to patients and customers.
Minimum QualificationsEducation, Certification, and/or Licensure:
1. Current Food Handlers card OR obtained within 30 days of hire through ONE of the following, as required by County DHHR:
- Servsafe National Restaurant Association
- Local County Health Department
To be completed as established by department: (Administered at Department level)
1. Person in Charge (PIC) training provided through the County Health Department.
Preferred QualificationsEducation, Certification, and/or Licensure:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills and Abilities1. Ability to understand written and oral communication.
2. Computer skills - know how to use basic computer components (keyboard, mouse, tablet) and basic computer applications such as Microsoft word.
3. Telephone skills - know how to use speaker phones, headsets, and telephone etiquette.
