We are looking for a dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our team. This position is instrumental in ensuring that students continue to receive top-notch instruction during the absence of regular faculty. Your role will involve delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and help them continue their learning journey in cosmetology.

• Implement lesson plans and facilitate learning activities based on the curriculum
• Conduct practical demonstrations of cosmetology techniques
• Assess and evaluate student performance through constructive feedback
• Maintain a positive and organized classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to meet educational standards
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom setting

• Active Cosmetology License in the State of Illinois
• Prior experience in cosmetology is preferred

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $19.00 and $22.00/hr actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
