Position: HR Operations & Benefits Administrator (HYBRID)

HR Operations & Benefits Administrator

Founded in 1990, LGH stands at the forefront of the hoisting and rigging equipment rental industry, providing rental equipment responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of everything from the bridges you drive on to the sports stadiums you visit.

The HR Operations & Benefits Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration and execution of HR operations, with primary responsibility for benefits administration, employee data management, onboarding processes, leave coordination, and compliance tracking.

This role partners with the HR Manager to ensure HR processes are executed accurately, consistently, and in accordance with company policy and applicable law. The position operates with a strong level of accountability in executing assigned processes, while partnering closely with the HR Manager on prioritization, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3 - 6+ years of HR experience with a focus on benefits administration and HR operations
  • Experience administering employee benefits and leave programs (including FMLA and ADA-related processes)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage recurring HR processes with accuracy and accountability
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment law fundamentals

Preferred:

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Paylocity or similar systems
  • Experience in multi-state or multi-location environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Customer-service mindset with the ability to support employees professionally and effectively

  • Strong problem-solving skills and judgement regarding when to escalate issues appropriately

Hours /

Location:

HYBRID

  • Training Period (10+ days): Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM; onsite at LGH HQ in Bridgeview, IL and Microsoft Teams.
  • After Training: HYBRID SHIFT - 8:00AM - 4:30PM (CST)

Compensation: $30.00 – $38.00/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
