We're looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in Oak Lawn, IL. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards; scheduling mechanics/technicians' work; managing outside orders; ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs; meeting customer expectations; and maintaining the safety of team members.

The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under‑car repair services. The Service Manager must direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians; stage vehicle repair/maintenance work; drive the sales initiatives; communicate directly with customers; assess customer needs; provide information regarding requested and necessary automotive repairs and maintenance; ensure customer satisfaction; and strive to meet customer expectations.

Minimum qualifications include: at least 18 years of age; legal authorization to work in the United States; and either one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales; one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance; or a combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
