Litho Press Operator

Nosco is looking for a Lithographic Press Operator at our Bridgeview, IL facility. As an employee owner in this position, you will assist with setup and operation of a multi‑color press, comply with customer specifications, and maintain a high level of quality expectations. The role offers the potential to grow into other opportunities in the pressroom or other departments.

• Set up and operate the press per SOPs, work instructions, and control riders.
• Actively monitor production efficiency and quality while completing all documentation and reporting accurately.
• Troubleshoot machine problems related to equipment and set‑up; perform testing as required and determine corrective actions to achieve passing results.
• Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes by identifying problems in a timely fashion and communicating effectively with downstream operators.
• Perform clean‑up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
• Maintain a high rate of productivity and meet expectations for set‑up time and run speeds as established by the department leads.

• Preferably 3+ years of lithographic press experience or other technical skills operating machinery.
• Experience with basic quality systems and documentation.
• Ability to understand and achieve performance expectations from supervision and communicate those requirements to the crew.
• Physical requirements:
  
  twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to concentrate for long periods.
• Competent speaking, hearing, and vision are essential to perform job functions.

The typical pay range for this role is $24.00 - $37.00
.
