Second Pressman - Feeder

Nosco is looking for a Second Pressman - Feeder at our Bridgeview, IL facility. This role is on a 24/6 schedule, which consists of working 3 workdays, 12.25 hours per day, 36.75 hours per week. As an employee owner in this position, you will assist with setup and operation of a multi‑color press, complying with customer specifications while maintaining a high level of quality expectations.

This position has the opportunity to grow into other roles in the pressroom or other departments.

• Set up and operate press per SOPs, work instructions, and control riders.
• Actively monitor production efficiency and quality while completing all documentation and reporting accurately.
• Troubleshoot machine problems as they pertain to equipment and setup. Perform testing as required and understand what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
• Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes by identifying problems in a timely fashion and effectively communicating with downstream operators.
• Perform cleanup and maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
• Maintain a high rate of productivity, meeting expectations for setup time and run speeds as established by department leads.

• Preferably +2 years of digital press experience or other technical skills operating machinery.
• Experience with basic quality systems and documentation.
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read a ruler to 1/64".
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Physical requirements:
  
  twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Long periods of concentration.
• Proficient speaking, hearing, and vision for performing job functions.
