Window Operator

Nosco is looking for a Window Operator at our Bridgeview, IL facility. As an employee owner in this position, you will efficiently produce a quality folding carton that requires windowing whether printed or unprinted.

• Sets up and operates a window machine per SOPs, work instructions, and control riders.
• Actively monitors production efficiency and quality. Completes all documentation and reporting accurately.
• Troubleshoots machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up. Performs testing as required and understands what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
• Assists in minimizing the scope of remakes by identifying problems in a timely fashion and effectively communicating with customer fulfillment technicians.
• Performs clean-up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
• Maintains a high rate of productivity, meeting expectations for set-up time and run speeds as established by department leads.

• Preferably +2 years of carton folder/gluer experience or other technical skills operating machinery.
• Experience with basic quality systems and documentation.
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime in a fast‑paced environment with ability to adapt to change.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read a ruler to 1/64".
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods, and maintain manual dexterity, concentration, speaking, hearing, and vision required for job functions.
