Second Pressman - Feeder

Nosco is looking for a Second Pressman - Feeder at our Bridgeview, IL facility. This role is on our 24/6 schedule, working 3 workdays, 12.25 hours per day, 36.75 hours per week.

• Set up and operate press per SOPs, work instructions, and control riders.
• Actively monitor production efficiency and quality while completing all documentation and reporting accurately.
• Troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up. Perform testing as required and understand what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
• Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes by identifying problems in a timely fashion and effectively communicating with downstream operators.
• Perform clean‑up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
• Perform and sustain a high rate of productivity. Meet expectations for set up time and run speeds as established by the department leaders.

• Preferably +2 years of digital press experience or other technical skills operating machinery.
• Experience with basic quality systems and documentation.
• Flexibility to work any shift and overtime. Work in a fast‑paced environment with ability to deal with change.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read a ruler to 1/64".
• Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Physical requirements:
  
  twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Long periods of concentration.
• Speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
