The hourly wage for this position is $38.00 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.

Note:
Training for this position will be on 3rd Shift: Sunday – Friday; 10:30pm - 6:30am + $0.85 shift differential pay during training. The training period is up to 6 months).
Sign‑On Bonus:
$2000 paid in two installments. The first installment of $500 would be paid on the pay cycle following the employee’s completion of 30 days of employment. The remaining $1500 would be paid on the pay cycle after the employee reaches 6 months of active employment.
Summary:
Performstroubleshooting and repair on electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Assist with the servicing and repairing of more complex equipment. Complies with applicable regulations and the department’s Safety program.
Essential Functions- Performstroubleshooting and repair on electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic mechanical systems.
- Analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairsequipment.
- Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance.
- Check and inspect assigned equipment during preventative maintenance. Reports findings to management.
- Performs corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs.
- Ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and extended down time.
- Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking system.
- Respond quickly to issues or concerns that may put employees at risk for injury, to include rectifying immediate dangers.
- Communicate existing and potential issues with group leaders/maintenance manager.
Education:
Minimum High School diploma or GED and electrical apprenticeship and/or vocational school/technology certificate in electricity.
Experience:
- Five (5) years of electrical technical hands‑on experience including wiring automation machine control panels and PLCs.
- Must have a good working knowledge of electricity and troubleshooting electrical issues including 480 volts.
- Ability to troubleshoot control circuits, motors, motor control circuits, and other electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics and apply NEC requirements.
- Ability to use appropriate hand, power and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment to complete job tasks.
